Mace Gains BS11000 Certification
After 26 years of working collaboratively it’s great for Mace and to be recognised for their efforts in achieving the BS11000 collaborative working standard. Getting recognition through certification to BS11000 means that Mace and its customers can show they are on top of managing their relationships effectively.
The B2B team were glad to be able support Mace with the certification process, but were even more pleased that we could help implement it in some key projects.
The Standard is relevant to all sectors but is particularly present in complex engineering, construction, infrastructure and defence equipment contracts where the management of collaborative relationships is essential for the delivery of projects to time, cost, programme, quality and safely.
In November 2016, the British Standard is expected to be approved as an International Standard – probably ISO11000. The B2B team have supported the UK ISO11000 Committee in re-developing BS11000 so it builds upon the lessons in the UK in recent years, and better reflects the need to implement the standard across the world and in many different contexts.
Those with BS11000 already will need to check out the changes to the new standard which align it to the existing family of ISO standards and pick up on recent years lessons learned.
